Overview
Canadian SMEs or start-up companies can receive up to 40% of the cost of a new employee’s salary to a maximum of $75,000 in order to carry out a project that supports the development of a natural product or technology.

Use this to Work directly on product or technology development Conduct business development Work on the regulatory strategy and/or collect necessary data for regulatory submissions Work on product or technology scale-up Perform marketing or sales strategy Raise fundraising to support the growth of the product or technology Note: Funds from this program are applied to salary costs only. Any recruitment costs that may be incurred by the SME or start-up company are not eligible and will not be supported by the program.
